There are 3 modes: 1 player, 2 players and quick match; while in 1 player mode, you can choose training first and then start tournament or a quick match, in 2 player mode, there are 3 types: you can play with your friend in 2 different players or each one controls 2 characters in 2 teams and the last type is you and your friend in the same team against the CPU.
